ALEX WILD

VEDIC MEDITATION TEACHER, ACUPUNCTURIST & MARTIAL ARTIST

Alex Powerlett

Hello!
I am interested in transformation.
In helping people find stillness and space in their everyday lives. Helping people develop full mind-body-spirit integration.

I believe life is playful. I believe in taking care of our bodies - our physical homes. I believe even the busiest mind can access moments of quiet and restoration.

My training is in Vedic meditation, Chinese medicine, and martial arts. I learned martial arts at a young age, which spurred an interest in Eastern philosophy. I became curious about Chinese medicine and studied to become an acupuncturist and physical therapist. I arrived at Vedic meditation after years of practising mindfulness techniques and still not being able to sit still or "empty" my mind.

Immediately after learning Vedic meditation, I felt a sense of space and silence that I’d never experienced. Plus an increase in my physical performance in strength training and martial arts.

I teach weekly Vedic meditation courses and hold group meditations in Noosa, Sunshine Coast.

I also offer acupuncture, physical therapy, martial arts and breath training, as they’re such complementary healing techniques alongside meditation.

I am here to help people. To help create strong bodies, calm minds and free spirits.

Everyone is welcome.

Much love,
Alex

TESTIMONIALS

I was lucky enough to learn with Alex. For me, meditation has come and gone through various modalities over the past 4 years. Alex has given me an opportunity to create a consistent and effective practice that has bought more clarity of mind and calmness into my daily life. It is a priceless technique that pays for itself day-to-day and for years to come.
I appreciate the support and check-ins that Alex offers, including opportunities to meet in groups and meditate together. Thank you :)

Alex brings an open heart, sense of humour and great depth of experiential knowledge to his teaching. During the introductory course, all questions were welcome. He held a supportive, lovely space for all of us to relax and unravel! For me the practice is effortless. I love how still and quiet my internal world becomes. Even if the meditation feels sticky or unnecessary that morning or afternoon, I notice even hours later that I feel an increasing peace where often there exists resistance or exhaustion with day-to-day reality.
